In 2007 Germany can use nominally 75 hours of Svalbard (ESR) radar time and 97 hours of mainland radar time (KST, including heating). This is a 7% share of the total. In practice EISCAT will run as much as possible so that the above target may be exceeded or (occasionally) not reached.
