EISCAT-CAWSES-Copernicus

The German member in EISCAT is presently the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), which pays approximately 180.000 EUR annually. This entitles German researchers the use of ca. 7% of the Special Programme time. The governing body of EISCAT is the Council.

The German representatives in the Council are:

Dr. Jürgen Röttger

Since 2007 the Council is advised by a Scientific Oversight Committee (SOC) with the German representative Prof. Dr. Markus Rapp.
